Paul is experienced and comfortable in providing music that is in the background (people are conversing) as well as music that is in the foreground, where people are listening to Paul play or sing, and maybe even singing along. He has words for hundreds of songs on his laptop, and by hooking it up to a large TV or data projector you and your guests can sing-a-long.
Paul prefers to play on actual pianos, as long as they are in good condition. if that is not the case, or you don't have a piano, he can perform on his keybaord equipment.

Paul has done hundreds of wedding ceremonies all over Chicagoland at churches, synagogues, homes, and banquet facilities. He's even done them outdoors. He is highly proficient at not only the piano, but pipe organs, electronic organs, and keyboards, so no matter what instrument the venue has he will be able to play it. IF there is none, or it is not in the best condition, he has his own keyboard he can bring and perform on.
Vocalists are often used at wedding ceremonies as well, and Paul knows and has worked with a wide variety of vocalists - both professional and amatuer, so be sure to ask him about that too when you contact him.

While a live band or a DJ may be used for the dancing portion of your reception, consider adding live piano music during the cocktails and/or dinner portion of your special day. It adds quite a bit of "class" having live music during this portion of your event. Paul has done countless wedding receptions, and sometimes even covered the dancing portion when people were looking for more conservative alternatives.
For example, if you would prefer songs by Sinatra by Dean Martin over current pop music, then Paul can provide not only the cocktail piano and/or dinner portion of your evening, but the dancing as well. If you'd like to "spice" it up a bit, he can add an acoustic bass player and maybe even a drummer. On occasion he also works with female vocalists as well.
